Singapore ‘11 Vacay: Touchdown
I’m not a big fan of going to Singapore because the weather is hot and/or schizophrenic and the shopping is expensive but traveling is something that I’m nearly never going to say no to. This time around, we were blessed with milder weather, with the occasional but tolerable downpour.

My sister and I make it a point to take photos inside the plane. This activity is, most of the time, more fun than watching the inflight shows (but we totally enjoyed watching Something Borrowed on our way to Singapore). Just during this flight alone, we already have close to 250 shots of weird faces and funny expressions. No, those will not see the light of day. Yes, they were good times.

One of the things I like about Singapore taxis is that they let you know whether they’re hired or available. You can see the sign on top of the taxis as clear as day. One of the things I don’t like about Singapore taxis is that most of them only allow 4 passengers inside but I guess it’s also a good thing because the reason behind this is they want to ensure each passenger can fasten a seatbelt for safety.

It’s amazing how they maintain their buildings.

Coming up to Marina Bay Sands. It was a spur of the moment decision to shoot the side of this hotel as our bus was pulling up. I think I just pointed my camera towards the left and clicked. Not bad for something that wasn’t well-thought of.

Hello Singapore Flyer!

Singapore isn’t in my list of favorite traveling places but things seemed like they were going to be a blast.
