Last Sunday, I experienced my first exhibit and I felt like such a star with all the photo ops and people appreciating each artist’s works.
It was organized by Alessa Libongco (Community of Filipino Digital Artists and Graphic Designers) and hosted at Gallery 7 in Eastwood.
Works by my co-exhibitors, Noelle Hilario, Clarissa Gonzalez, Maricar Dizon and Joven DelaCruz, were really wonderful to look at. You can clearly see each artist’s personality and style. I hope to be a part of another exhibit with them again in future.
I waited for friends to come but I realized it was a Sunday which meant that they were probably with their families but I’m still super glad that my ever supportive friend Peppy and my love love Elbert (gave me a rose whee!) were there to make me feel like a million bucks. I wish my family could have been there too but they couldn’t fly in that day. Still, I know they’re proud of me. My mom had me recount everything that happened and told me to send her pictures. I do hope I made my parents proud.
Oh and did I mention, I won the raffle! The prize was this Genius tablet worth P6k+. Amazing! I’ve never won any raffle in my whole life and I’m glad that the first one was something useful and big. ^_^ I always knew 7 was my lucky number.
Participating artists were also given these free giveaways from Genius. They’re such a generous sponsor.
Finally, after the exhibit ended, Elbert and I decided to eat dinner at Cyma. It wasn’t as good as we remembered but nothing could have ruined that wonderful day.
