I thought of this drawing when the boyfriend was walking me to my door the other night. It’s such a simple act but it truly makes me feel that I’m the most special girl in his life.
Hope all girls find reasons to feel that way too.

Because his book with J. Torres, Lola: A Ghost Story, has been officially nominated by the American Library Association | Young Adult Library Services Association under the 2011 Great Graphic Novels for Teens Fiction category.
He’s now an international literature award nominee. I am giddy beyond belief.
