This has been sitting in my hard drive for the longest time. I don’t know why I never posted it.
I drew this after the boyfriend and I talked about our future family last summer. We both have very similar dreams for the future so it isn’t at all unpleasant to think of the what ifs. It would be nice to settle down already and have someone to cuddle with as I’m falling asleep.

I think this is such a beautifully-shot commercial. If you see this on TV, you’ll understand what I mean. It’s not so apparent here on YouTube because of the low res quality of the video.
And I really like the fact that these two can still work together even if they broke up as a real-life couple.
I finally found the time to finish coloring this. I even changed the lineart a bit.
We can all benefit from free love and that’s what I was thinking of when I first did this.

The boyfriend has been sick since Saturday so he went home to his parents to recuperate. That also means he doesn’t have the energy to talk on the phone for very long. We talked a total of 15 or so minutes the entire weekend.
It feels weird not seeing him as much anymore when we used to see each other everyday. Ever since he opened his art school and I started going back to school, we’re lucky if we see each other once a week. I can’t visit him as much as I’d want and vice versa.
It’s like being in a long distance relationship.
It’s been really hard to draw anything these past few weeks because school and work have both started for me. I always come home too tired or having to do so many other things that I end up with no time left for drawing. But this morning, I woke up wanting to share something artistic again so here’s a 1-hour drawing for all of you. Please excuse the lack of quality.
I also decided to add a little comics element in because I miss making comics. I really want to come out with something for this year’s Metro Comic Con but I don’t think I’ll have the time.
Also, thank you to all my new followers. I’m sorry I haven’t sent you a personal thank you message yet. I’ll get to that when I have the time.

I thought of this drawing when the boyfriend was walking me to my door the other night. It’s such a simple act but it truly makes me feel that I’m the most special girl in his life.
Hope all girls find reasons to feel that way too.
